The Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Chain

You’ve heard of the Hard Rock Café chain, no doubt, and you’ve probably had an overpriced meal and a beer there, too. They are famous for having rock and roll memorabilia hanging on the walls and in glass window displays at the entrance. The chain has restaurants, called cafés, around the world, and what they have in common is the hard rock glamour and the inevitable Rock Shop where you can get a pricey guitar keyring or t-shirt proving you’ve visited the HRC in Amsterdam, Istanbul, San Francisco, and so on. But, most importantly, you’ll take away the memory that you’ve seen the first Jeff Beck guitar or held in your hands the one owned by the great master of blues, the late Stevie Ray Vaughan. After all, the Hard Rock Café chain is all about electric guitars that have written rock history. Hence, their logo and the larger-than-life guitar sign above the entrance.
How the Rock Memorabilia Idea Was Born
The first guitar, and the first item for that matter, to appear on a HRC wall was Eric Clapton’s guitar. Allegedly, he was a regular at the original Café in London and wanted the guitar put on the wall to reserve his seat, so to say. Pete Townshend did the same and many others followed suit. Now the walls of every HRC around the world are adorned with guitars, drumsticks, guitar picks, items of clothing from famous tours and videos, posters, and pictures. Many of those items are signed or come with a note from the musician who has donated them.
The Hard Rock Hotels
Today the Hard Rock brand has taken the initial idea that music makes people feel good and upgraded it to making people feel good even when no music is involved. There are quite a number of Hard Rock Hotels and even Hard Rock Casinos and on their website they invite you to find your next adventure, offering a wide choice of options around the world. Whether you like big city stops, such as Tampa, Chicago, Panama City, or family holiday destinations, such as Goa, Pattaya, Tenerife. The Hard Rock motto “Love All, Serve All” is preserved in the concept of their hotels as well.
The Hard Rock Hotel & Casino
But if you’re going to let the Hard Rock chain provide the fun and luxury for your holiday, why not go all the way and pick a Hard Rock Hotel & Casino? Though there are currently only 11 of those, these are definitely a branch that will be expanding. Why would you want to stay at a Hard Rock Hotel & Casino? Because they promise you the rock star experience and just about everybody has wanted to be a rock star at a certain point in their life. They say they’ll give you the VIP treatment 24/7 and all that at a dreamy destination like Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. And what do rock stars do when they are having some time away at a tropical paradise? They enjoy themselves gambling. Now you can, too, without leaving your hotel – it’s all part of the all-inclusive Hard Rock experience. The chain offers thousands of slots and a good selection of tables for blackjack, baccarat and poker, high limit rooms, and VIP lounges. You can try your luck and maybe, just maybe, the rock memorabilia surrounding you will bring you a winning streak. You can enjoy casino games in the rock atmosphere with world-class bands performing live and a choice of food – all that at the same place. It is a package experience that would truly answer the prayers of many. And as if living your childhood dream of being rich and famous wasn’t enough, at some locations you’ll have the chance to have an electric guitar waiting for you in your room (Punta Cana), play against the Hard Rock Girls Blackjack pit (Tampa), or enjoy the Rock Spa treatments.
The Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Las Vegas
However, as might be expected the king of kings of Hard Rock Hotel & Casino is the first hotel from the chain – the one in Las Vegas. The iconic joint features classic games, such as blackjack, craps, roulette, and baccarat. You can also play Progressive 3-Card Poker, Ultimate Texas Hold’em Poker, Let it Ride, and Big 6 there. The loyalty card is appropriately called the “backstage pass” and there is hard rock royalty, such as Alice Cooper, frequenting the place to give their history-in-the-making performances. And if you’ve ever wanted to lounge in the pool and still get your blackjack game on, you can do that at Palapa Bar, Rehab Beach Club, where the blackjack tables are at the edge and the player seats – under the water. Moreover, the Peacock High Limit Gaming is a must-see for high rollers. In case you get bored with what the Hotel & Casino has to offer, you can always step out and pick a different casino because you’re in Las Vegas.
